About this experience

A personal dedication, learned in a week. Seven private lessons at Player's Institute in Thane, one a day, and then you sing or play a song for someone you love at your celebration.

Two ways to surprise them

Sing It for You: prepare a simple song or Bollywood excerpt for your spouse or partner. Seven one-hour vocal lessons find a comfortable key, work through the lyrics, rehearse with guitar and shape a short spoken dedication.
Add live guitar (₹2,000 more): Vikram Khade from Player's Institute accompanies your one agreed song at the celebration.
Play It for You: prepare a simple guitar melody or accompaniment. Seven one-hour guitar lessons with an adapted practice sheet and a guitar to use in class, then a final rehearsal. You perform on your own on the day.

Your seven days

Day 1: agree the song, your starting level and the goal
Days 2–3: learn short sections and timing
Days 4–5: connect the parts and build confidence
Day 6: rehearse the dedication and performance cues
Day 7: final run-through and celebration prep

Practise briefly between visits. Your song is teacher-approved and simplified to your level: the goal is a heartfelt, supported dedication, not complete-song mastery.

Good to know

For one adult. Lessons are at Player's Institute, Thane.
All seven lessons are reserved together, and PI agrees a discreet way to reach you so the surprise stays a surprise.
Play It for You: you'll need a guitar at home to practise and on the day.
Live guitar covers one song at your celebration, not a full set.

Player's Institute terms & conditions

Booking • After you book, Player's Institute confirms the package, participants, instrument, date and teacher or batch with you. • All seven daily lessons are reserved together before the first one. Plan day 7 just before your celebration. • Live guitar by Vikram Khade (that option only): his availability, the venue, date, access and performance time are confirmed before the event, and any travel or sound-equipment cost is agreed with you in advance. It covers one agreed song, not a full set. • Play It for You: you'll need a guitar at home to practise and on the day; take-home instruments aren't included. Rescheduling & missed sessions • Reschedule by telling Player's Institute at least 24 hours before the session; the new time depends on teacher and slot availability. • With less than 24 hours' notice, or a no-show, the session may count as used (PI may make an exception for a genuine emergency). • Arriving late doesn't extend the session. Cancellations & refunds • Cancel at least 24 hours before your package starts for a refund. • Once teaching has started, delivered sessions aren't refundable; unused sessions can be rescheduled or refunded proportionately, subject to the 24-hour rule. • If Player's Institute has to cancel, you're offered another suitable time at no extra cost, or a refund for the part not delivered. • For a fixed-date live performance, a substitute accompanist needs your agreement. Songs & outcomes • Songs are approved by the teacher and may be simplified. Progress depends on your starting level, attendance and practice; a complete, polished song isn't guaranteed. • An instrument for home practice isn't included unless agreed separately. Prices • Prices cover the stated participants and teaching time. Extra lessons or participants, take-home instruments, professional recording, catering and decorations are quoted separately by Player's Institute. Store benefit • Show your Auréa booking confirmation at Player's Institute for flat 10% off eligible in-stock instruments and flat 5% off accessories. Selected brands excluded; PI confirms eligibility before you buy.
