AUREA GIFTS LLP — TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale and use of Experience Vouchers, Gift Cards, and related products (“Products”) by Aurea Gifts LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India, having its registered office at 12/2, Kalikapur Road, 700033 Kolkata, hereinafter referred to as “Aurea”, “Company”, “We”, or “Us”.

By purchasing, redeeming, or using any Product or by accessing the Aurea website www.aureagifts.com (“Website”), you (“Client”, “Customer”, “User”, “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. DEFINITIONS

  1. “Voucher” means a prepaid digital or physical certificate issued by Aurea that entitles the Customer to avail an experience, activity, service, or product offered by an independent partner (“Experience Partner”).
  2. “Experience Partner / Partner” means any third party offering goods or services through Aurea’s platform.
  3. “Gift Card” means a prepaid card of a fixed monetary value redeemable on Aurea or with Aurea’s Partners.
  4. “Agreement” means the legally binding contract formed upon successful purchase of a Product from Aurea.
  5. “Experience” means the specific activity, service, event, or package offered through Aurea.

2. PRODUCTS OFFERED

2.1 Aurea sells the following types of Vouchers and Gift Cards:

  • Aurea Gift Cards: Stored-value cards redeemable for any Aurea-listed experience.
  • Partner Experience Vouchers: Entitles the Customer to avail a specific experience offered by an Experience Partner.
  • Aurea Gift Boxes / Sets: Bundled selections of experiences where the recipient may choose one option.
  • Category-Specific Vouchers:
    • Culinary & Dining Experiences
    • Spa, Beauty & Wellness Vouchers
    • Adventure, Outdoor & Travel Experiences
    • Romantic or Special Occasion Experiences
    • Corporate Gifting Experience Cards

2.2 All Vouchers are activated only upon full payment.

2.3 Some Vouchers may be multi-option or multi-partner, meaning the Customer may select any experience from a given list/category.

2.4 Vouchers may be single-use or multi-use depending on the type issued.

2.5 Vouchers cannot be recharged, reloaded, or topped up.


3. GENERAL CONDITIONS

3.1 Aurea acts only as an intermediary. All Experiences are delivered by independent Experience Partners.
3.2 Experience descriptions, safety conditions, restrictions, and availability are provided by the Partner.
3.3 Customers must read the Experience Terms of Use before booking the experience.
3.4 Purchasing a Voucher implies understanding and accepting all conditions applicable to that Experience.
3.5 Aurea reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply prospectively.


4. PURCHASE OF VOUCHERS

4.1 Vouchers may be purchased:

  • On the Aurea website
  • Through authorized sales partners or distributors
  • Directly via Aurea corporate representatives

4.2 Payment methods include:

  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • UPI
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets
  • Payment gateways integrated on the Website
  • Corporate invoice-based purchases (where approved)

4.3 Aurea may refuse a sale if:

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected
  • Terms are violated
  • Incorrect or incomplete information is provided

4.4 The Agreement is completed only after successful payment and issuance of the Voucher.


5. DELIVERY OF VOUCHERS

5.1 Digital Vouchers are sent to the email/mobile number provided during purchase.
5.2 Physical Vouchers/Gift Boxes may be delivered via courier service. Delivery charges may apply.
5.3 Aurea is not responsible for delays caused by courier companies or customer-provided incorrect details.


6. USE OF VOUCHERS

6.1 Customers must book the Experience directly with the Partner using the instructions provided in the Voucher.

6.2 The Partner may deny service if:

  • The Voucher is expired, damaged, or invalid
  • Safety requirements are not fulfilled
  • Customer does not meet age/health/eligibility restrictions

6.3 If the cost of an Experience exceeds the Voucher value, the Customer must pay the difference directly to the Partner.

6.4 Aurea does not guarantee availability for specific dates; prior booking is mandatory.


7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers must:

  • Provide only accurate personal information
  • Ensure the Voucher is kept secure
  • Read all Experience-specific terms, restrictions, and safety instructions
  • Arrive on time for the booked Experience
  • Adhere to Partner rules and safety guidelines

Aurea is not responsible for loss or misuse of Vouchers.


8. VALIDITY AND EXTENSION OF VOUCHERS

8.1 Voucher validity is printed on the Voucher or in the purchase confirmation.

8.2 Vouchers may be extended if allowed and subject to administrative fees determined by Aurea.

8.3 Extensions can be requested via:

  • Email support
  • Website self-service (if available)

8.4 Expired Vouchers cannot be used, exchanged, or refunded unless required by applicable Indian law.


9. EXCHANGES & UPGRADES

10. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

10.1 All Vouchers sold by Aurea are non-refundable, except where required under Indian law (Consumer Protection Act 2019).

10.2 Refunds may be allowed in the following conditions:

  • The Partner permanently discontinues the Experience before booking
  • Aurea is unable to provide an alternative of equal value
  • Duplicate purchase due to payment gateway error
  • Refund mandated under applicable Indian regulations

10.3 Refunds (if approved) will be processed:

  • To the original payment method, or
  • As Aurea store credit, depending on the case

10.4 If the Customer has already booked a date with a Partner but fails to attend, the Voucher is considered used and is non-refundable.


11. PARTNER’S RESPONSIBILITY

11.1 Partners are solely responsible for delivering the Experience, including:

  • Quality
  • Safety
  • Equipment
  • Staff
  • Permits and licences

11.2 Aurea is not liable for injuries, accidents, losses, or dissatisfaction arising from the Experience.


12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

12.1 Aurea will not be liable for:

  • Partner actions, negligence, or service failures
  • Customer’s failure to meet safety or eligibility conditions
  • Loss, theft, or misuse of Vouchers
  • Force majeure events

12.2 Maximum liability of Aurea, if awarded by competent authority, is limited to the value of the Voucher.


13. FRAUD & MISUSE

Aurea may cancel or deactivate a Voucher if fraud, resale without permission, misuse, or illegal activity is detected.


14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Website content, trademarks, images, and materials are the intellectual property of Aurea Gifts LLP and protected under Indian IP laws.


15. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal
