Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and Auréa Gifts LLP for your use of the Auréa mobile app and aureagifts.com. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. About Auréa & your agreement

Auréa (operated by Auréa Gifts LLP) is a curated marketplace where independent experience partners offer dining, wellness, adventure, gaming, culture and other experiences as prepaid vouchers. Auréa facilitates discovery, purchase, gifting and redemption — the experience itself is delivered by the partner. By creating an account, or buying, gifting or redeeming a voucher on the Auréa app or aureagifts.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a legally binding contract to use Auréa and to buy or redeem vouchers. Individual experiences may set their own age, health or eligibility requirements, shown on the experience page — you are responsible for meeting them.

3. Your account & OTP sign-in

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS (partners sign in by email). One verified mobile number identifies one account across the app and website. You are responsible for keeping your number and device secure and for activity under your account, and must tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Vouchers & gifting

A voucher is a prepaid certificate redeemable for a specific experience or value with a partner. Vouchers activate only on full payment, are valid only for the experience shown, and cannot be reloaded, resold or exchanged for cash. When you gift a voucher, you are responsible for entering the recipient’s correct mobile number; we deliver it to that number by WhatsApp and/or SMS, and the recipient may redeem it under these Terms.

5. Pricing, payments & taxes

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay; Auréa does not store your full card, UPI or bank details. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds. We may correct genuine pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund.

6. Validity & expiry

Each voucher carries a validity period shown on the voucher and experience page (commonly 90 days). Expired vouchers cannot be used, exchanged or refunded. Where an extension is offered, it is handled case-by-case and may carry an administrative fee.

7. Booking & redemption

Most experiences require you to book a date, time and (where applicable) venue in advance through Auréa. Present the voucher’s QR code or code at the venue to redeem it. A voucher can be validated only once; after it is redeemed, or a booked slot has passed, it is treated as used.

8. Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel an un-redeemed voucher within 24 hours of purchase for a refund to the original payment method, unless the experience page states otherwise. After redemption or a scheduled no-show, the voucher is deemed used and is non-refundable, non-reschedulable and non-replaceable, except where required by law or under our published refund promise (where an experience genuinely could not be delivered). Refund timelines depend on your bank or payment provider.

9. Experience partners

Experiences are delivered by independent partners. Each partner is solely responsible for the availability, quality, safety, equipment, staff and conduct of its experience, and may add terms shown on the experience page. Your booking creates a contract with the partner for the experience; Auréa’s role is limited to facilitating it.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including duplicating, tampering with, reselling or fraudulently redeeming vouchers or QR codes; posting unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content or reviews; interfering with the app’s security or operation; or using the service for any unlawful purpose. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

The Auréa name, logo, app, website, design and content are owned by Auréa Gifts LLP or its licensors and protected by law. Partner and third-party marks (e.g. Timezone) belong to their owners and are used with permission. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose and may not copy, modify or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

12. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auréa disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for the acts or omissions of partners, events beyond our reasonable control, or your failure to meet an experience’s requirements. Auréa’s total liability for any voucher or booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Suspension & termination

You may stop using Auréa at any time and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, for fraud or security reasons, or to comply with law. Valid, unexpired vouchers remain honoured except in cases of fraud or abuse.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by other reasonable means, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.

15. App stores

If you install Auréa from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms. The store providers are not responsible for the app or its content, are not parties to these Terms, and may enforce them as third-party beneficiaries where applicable.

16. Governing law & grievances

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and, subject to applicable law, disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue. Grievance Officer: Surojit Ghosh, Auréa Gifts LLP · support@aureagifts.com.
