About this experience

Your first song. One perfect occasion. A private session at Player's Institute in Thane where a complete beginner learns one simple song on guitar or keyboard and then performs it: for a birthday, a dedication or the joy of a first song.

What's included

One private session with a teacher, 60 to 90 minutes
The instrument to use during your visit
A simplified practice sheet to take home
Guided rehearsal and a short, supported performance
A first-performance certificate
A simple keepsake video clip if you'd like one, shared privately

How the session unfolds

Set up and learn the essential notes, rhythm or chords. Learn short phrases, bring them together and rehearse an arrangement that suits you. The last five minutes are for your performance and the recording. The visit never runs past 90 minutes.

Good to know

For children aged 6 and up, teens and adult beginners; no experience needed.
Guitar and keyboard are the main choices. Another instrument may be possible: ask Player's Institute.
Pick your song from PI's beginner-friendly selection (open song requests aren't included). A shorter section may be used where needed; a complete independent performance isn't guaranteed.
PI confirms the occasion, age, experience and instrument with you before the session.

A little extra

Player's Institute terms & conditions

Booking • After you book, Player's Institute confirms the package, participants, instrument, date and teacher or batch with you. Rescheduling & missed sessions • Reschedule by telling Player's Institute at least 24 hours before the session; the new time depends on teacher and slot availability. • With less than 24 hours' notice, or a no-show, the session may count as used (PI may make an exception for a genuine emergency). • Arriving late doesn't extend the session. Cancellations & refunds • Cancel at least 24 hours before your package starts for a refund. • Once teaching has started, delivered sessions aren't refundable; unused sessions can be rescheduled or refunded proportionately, subject to the 24-hour rule. • If Player's Institute has to cancel, you're offered another suitable time at no extra cost, or a refund for the part not delivered. Songs & outcomes • Songs are approved by the teacher and may be simplified. Progress depends on your starting level, attendance and practice; a complete, polished song isn't guaranteed. • An instrument for home practice isn't included unless agreed separately. Recordings & privacy • Keepsakes are simple phone recordings, not studio productions, shared with you privately. Recording is optional; a parent or guardian consents for anyone under 18. Public or promotional use needs separate permission. Prices • Prices cover the stated participants and teaching time. Extra lessons or participants, take-home instruments, professional recording, catering and decorations are quoted separately by Player's Institute. Store benefit • Show your Auréa booking confirmation at Player's Institute for flat 10% off eligible in-stock instruments and flat 5% off accessories. Selected brands excluded; PI confirms eligibility before you buy.
